The moonstones (white labradorite) are of selected quality, the stones are very clear with an intense blue shimmer and without matrix inclusions.
The faceted moonstones have a diameter of 4.5 - 7 mm
Necklace length: 41 cm plus 4 cm sterling silver extension chain
The piece of jewelry is threaded onto 49 strands of coated professional stainless steel jewelry wire. The 49 strands make the chain particularly soft and at the same time very stable.
The clasp is a lobster clasp made from rhodium-plated 925 Sterling silver. Rhodium-plated silver does not tarnish.
Rainbow moonstone is a white / transparent labradorite that iridesces in a variety of shimmering colors. The trade name "rainbow moonstone" is widely recognized, but it is not a classic moonstone. However, they are closely related, as both belong to the feldspar group.
