Sterling Silber ist eine hochwertige Silberlegierung, die hauptsächlich für Schmuck verwendet wird.
Sie besteht aus 92,5 % reinem Feinsilber und 7,5 % anderen Metallen, meist Kupfer.
Durch das Mischen mit 7,5 % Kupfer wird es:
• härter und stabiler,
• weniger anfällig für Kratzer,
• besser formbar.
