This heliodor / gold beryl necklace is a real delight and an absolute eye-catcher. The heliodor crystals are perfectly faceted and crystal clear. The quality of the stones and the workmanship are simply outstanding. The heliodor crystals are natural gemstones and are not color-treated.
- The piece of jewelry is threaded onto a 49-strand professional stainless steel jewelry wire. The 49 strands make the piece of jewelry particularly soft and also very stable and durable.
- The clasp is a high-quality lobster clasp. The clasp and the other silver parts are made of rhodium-plated 925 silver. Rhodium-plated silver does not tarnish.
Beryl occurs opaque and in varying degrees of transparency.
From a certain quality (color intensity and transparency) one speaks gemmologically of precious stones. The best-known varieties are the green emerald, the blue aquamarine, the yellow gold beryl (also heliodor) and the pink morganite (named after the New York banker John Pierpont Morgan) as well as the colorless goshenite.
