The clasp is a lobster clasp made from rhodium-plated 925 Sterling silver. Rhodium-plated silver does not discolor to black.
The piece of jewelry is threaded onto 49 strands of coated professional stainless steel jewelry wire. The bracelet is particularly soft and at the same time very stable thanks to the 49 strands.
