The silver wire is made of Argentium Silver.
Argentium Silver is a new brand of modern tarnish resistant silver. Argentium alloys replace some of the copper in the traditional sterling silver alloy with the metalloid germanium. The silver content is 93% to 96% (in sterling silver the silver content is 92.5%). Argentium Silver is also particularly suitable for people who are prone to contact allergies or who are sensitive to Sterling Silver 925.
