The piece of jewelry is threaded onto 49 strands of coated professional stainless steel jewelry wire (Superior quality Griffin Made in Germany). The 49 strands make the chain particularly soft and at the same time very stable.

The clasp is a carabiner made of rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver. Rhodium-plated silver does not fade to black.

Tanzanite is a special rare gemstone. Its color is blue with a pink shimmer, giving it a slight violet tone. The exclusive gemstone was discovered in Tanzania in 1967 and that is how it got its name. Tanzanite is the only transparent variety from the Zoisite group. Tanzanite jewelry must never be cleaned using ultrasound!
